I am a single father raising my only child and everything is going quite well with our lives. I am able to support her entirely and I am sure that my wife has always been watching us, as I try to be a mother and father figure for our daughter. The mother part didn’t seem to be a big deal until last week when my daughter told me about their upcoming prom night in school. I was thinking it would be easy for me to find a prom dress for her since I have experienced going to proms before and checked out a lot of the girl’s gowns and dresses, until it hits me that the fashion now is different twenty years ago and I am in a deep puddle of mud.

My friend gave me a friendly prom advice and told me that I should try to look for some information in the internet, choose some pretty prom dresses, and then ask a lady’s opinion about it. I wanted this to be a surprise for my daughter so she’s definitely out of the picture. I wanted to ask her best friend about it but according to my daughter, her best friend isn’t the best person to keep a secret, that just by merely asking her opinion is already risky for the surprise. One friend told me that prom dresses can be very expensive but I think in this case, money is no object because prom nights are really special, and it is something that I don’t want my daughter to miss. I have looked for some designers as well to see which designs have the “it” factor and which ones are not, then look at some other web sites to see if I could find those attributes in other dresses. So far, I was able to find some 2009 editions and I’m trying to find some more. Once done, maybe I’ll just call one of my lady friends to see if the dresses that I picked would be suitable for my daughter and the trend that they have today.

Then of course, I also have to worry about her prom shoes, but I think it would be easier to choose once we get the dress since of course, they have to match. I think it would be easier to match shoes to a dress than to match a dress to shoes.

I was just browsing through the internet as I usually do on a boring afternoon at work, while everything is at peace and just waiting for my boss to give me some new assignments, when I saw this web site that was showing some Carhartt jackets and I thought to myself, with a little adjustment and the right men to wear them, they could actually look good to a person and can even start a trend if anyone would actually care to work on it. The coveralls and work shoes that the web site have really look amazing and I would not mind wearing them in a normal day, without worrying that people might start looking at me in a different way. The coveralls that they are offering looked mighty fine while the work shoes don’t really look like work shoes as they were made like they are going to be shown in a fashion show. Anyway, since I didn’t have much time, and since I saw my boss already walking towards me, I stopped looking at them so I could start my work. But I must admit that I am interested in getting one of those jackets or even the coveralls and see what I could come up with if I do some mixing and matching of clothes. With the help of my sister, who by the way is a fashion designer, we could come up with beautiful clothes from those clothes that are usually considered as construction gears.

I Googled diamond San Diego yesterday to find some fine jewelry within the city because I’m already planning to pop the question to my long time girlfriend and the results that I got were remarkably great. I got linked in to one web site where they sell some exceptional San Diego diamond rings and the collection that they have in there are really stunning and even have custom-made diamonds. I checked out their collections to see what I could find in there and maybe even buy and I wasn’t disappointed. The diamonds that they have a really well made and the cuts were made to perfection. I remember my mom telling me that if I am to buy a diamond engagement ring, I should always look at how the diamonds are cut and the way they are placed on the ring itself. From the pictures I saw, I think I’ll be going with that company and buy the wedding ring from them. I’ll have it custom-made so everything would go the way I want it and then, once I get the ring, I will just wait for the right timing so I could finally pop the question to my girl.

I went in some nightclubs in Devon last weekend to have fun with my friends and boy it was a nice one! Everything went great as we celebrated the birthday of one of my friends and it was really a blast because it was the first time that I experienced an all you can drink and eat nightclub celebration and my friend was the one who paid everything. One thing I noticed though is the apparels that people have worn that night. It was like stepping inside a runway show with all the people in there as the models because everyone shouts a different style and form.

It was fundamentally a spectacle of fashion as all sorts of looks from all sorts of standards were present in there, and I think every field of fashion was represented from tough, rugged look to the more elite and luxurious flavor, while our group consisted of the middle class and a bit of high class look because all of us came straight from work and were wearing our business and formal suits. Anyway, everything was really fine and we were able to have a great time. I guess on my birthday, I now know where to celebrate it.
