My wife has been nagging about how her wrinkles are already showing and she keeps on telling me that she is starting to get old. She was even the best swimmer that made her even more attractive. She ended up from being a completely nameless to this very attractive girl that all the boys want.

My sister got engaged last night as her fiancé did it in front of our whole family, giving my sister a blue diamond ring as their engagement ring. It was a night of great celebration and we were all happy for my sister, who really looked shocked, yet elated with all the things that happened last night. She was so happy with the ring that she almost forgot that we were around when her fiancé popped the question to her. This is in connection with my brother’s wedding that will be happening really soon, but decided to make me a part of the cramming because he said I am his best man…

He decided to put me in the wedding favors committee and told me to look for some nice place card frames for the guests in the wedding reception. He wants it to be elegant and pretty, but cheap at the same time. He told me I should be able to get something cheap at this point since I will be buying in bulk and I don’t have to worry too much because he said I should be able to find something in the internet without breaking a sweat, but then again, here I am, struggling… I told him that he should have just set the wedding in summer since I can get some friends make some nice summer wedding favors but no, he said it has to happen by April and it has to be the same date as our parent’s anniversary which would be on the 18th of April. He doesn’t realize that it would be too soon since he only proposed last month and the preparations should be at least around 4-6 months.

Everything is now set for what has got to be the fastest wedding preparation that I have ever done in my entire career as a wedding planner. My client has just went to my office last month and told me that he needs my help to set up a wedding for him and his fiancé. From there I thought it would be happening later this year or maybe in June, but he told me he needs to have everything set by April because he wants it to be special for both his fiancé and his parents. I had to get a lot of favors to pull it off but I was able to complete the task. I already took care of the catering services and the only thing lacking now is a taste test, which we could hopefully do this week. The wedding photographers have also been booked already on the date of the wedding, as well as the DJ’s, although too bad because I could have gotten them some good wedding singers but since they had to rush things, I could only afford DJ’s to do the reception for them. At least now, everything is settled and calm, at least on my part… because I haven’t really heard any updates from them since last week.

We are currently on a rush for our wedding because there are still a lot of things that we have to do and we have to accomplish for our wedding ceremony for next month, starting with the wedding bands… we already have some choices for the rings but we still haven’t decided on which one should we pick. Unlike when I was looking for engagement rings before, which was way easier since I was the only one picking, now it’s a bit harder… So far we got three choices. First one is the best looking but the most expensive of all. They are platinum rings and the store that we went to doesn’t want to give any discount to it. Second are white gold rings from Saudi Arabia, which was supposed to be good but they have to order some Mens Wedding Rings because they are all out. The third one, I like but my fiancé don’t. A simple gold ring with some etches on them. No final decisions yet because of so many opinions and comments. Then of course the logistics that I just gave to our wedding planner so we won’t get stressed out too much… I just hope she’s doing a better job than we do right now.

My sister is asking me if I could find her some African trade beads that she could use for the dress that she is currently designing. She is currently in a designer school and took up dress making as her major and she wants to make use of those trade beads for the dress that she is currently working on. I told her it would be easy, although I think it would also be costly in her part if she continues with making use of African trade beads since she’s asking me to find a certain design that is a little too expensive for her budget. She said she’s going to continue using it anyway because she likes the way those trade beads look and she is also planning to use the dress that she is making to the upcoming 80th birthday celebration of my grandfather by next month, which will be a formal affair. She said she wants our grandfather to see how well she makes dress now since our grandpa was a tailor back in his day. She said it was our grandfather who made her decide to go in to fashion and she wants to impress him by wearing something that she handcrafted herself.
