I was with my friend last weekend and we went to a certain fashion strip within the city, which quite frankly I have never been there my whole life. Anyway, I was just accompanying her because she wanted to buy an evening gown that she could wear for her father’s seventy sixth birthday celebration in two weeks time. We were looking through a lot of shops and boutiques, searching for that one dress that she can wear at the ball. We went from here to there and everywhere until she finally chose a long, black dress with a plunging neckline and a slit up to her knees. It had some nice lining at the side with some drapes at the back. Or at least that was how she described it. She immediately took the dress in to a fitting room, then stood in front of three large mirrors and that was all she wrote, or at least I thought it was… it turns out that the dress was a little expensive for her budget and the bad news was I couldn’t lend her money because we were going to an appliance shop next so I could buy a new TV for my living room. I told her, she could try to call her dad but she said she doesn’t want to borrow money from him since she will be using it for his birthday. I told her if she really is desperate, she could get payday one loans and they will give her cash advance in a matter of minutes. I guess you already know what happened next… I was able to buy myself a TV and she got her dress.

We went to some Long Island Boutiques yesterday and I must say, it was a really good experience for me because my friends were able to tell me a lot of stuff about fashion and what are the do’s and don’ts when buying womens clothes, especially designer clothes. We went to a lot of shops there, most of them I don’t even know exist but they said those lines of clothing are really famous. There are even some in there that I don’t know how to pronounce and I can’t spell. We were walking from one shop to another looking for dress, bags, shoes, jewelry and all sorts of things, and even though those activities are mostly for women, I found out one great thing. The best thing that I learned with that experience is that boutiques are one of the best places to find beautiful dates. There were a lot of pretty ladies in there, most of them looking like supermodels while others really are supermodels and since there aren’t a lot of men around in those areas, there’s no competition and it’s easier to get a date. I never thought that my first trip to those kinds of shopping places would actually be one of my best as well.

I really like to design custom t-shirts online because it gives me freedom to choose whatever it is that I want to see in the clothes and I can freely use my imagination to come up with some unique designs of my own and let the world see how my mind works when given such freedom of controlling visuals and other stuff. Before, that was when I haven’t discovered this type of art just yet, I was fond of going to one of those spray paint shops to have my very own custom t-shirts made for me. It was actually fine because in there, I could also pretty much do the things that I like with the design of the shirt but due to the global crisis, the price of the finished product went up high like the clouds in the sky because they said the price of the paint that they were using also went up. Before, from the amount of 20 bucks per realistic looking shirts (portraits of real persons and 3D pictures), it went up to 25 to 30 bucks a piece, depending on the design and the difficulty of creating the picture being painted on the shirts. At least, with the online shirts that I am purchasing right now, I get to do the same thing with a lower price since their procedure of printing is different.

We have opened up a unique boutique in the nearest mall that creates customized lanyards and badge holders, and in the two weeks that we have opened the place, it has been surprisingly strong! I was only expecting a little profit on it since I don’t really see any strong selling point on it, but I guess my partner was able to pull up something different about it. we are currently accepting business to business transactions as well where we design the lanyards and badge holders, depending on how the company would want it to be. We can produce wholesale lanyards and wholesale badge holders for the companies that want to have their plastic cards protected and be handled well. We also make sure that the orders we get would look good with any line of clothing. We see to it that we have highly fashionable lanyards since we understand that having something on one’s neck could sometimes be ruining one’s style and fashion.

Overall, I am just really happy on the outcome of this business. My friend proved me wrong that this would be a bad idea and made sure that we will have the best reception from the public. With all the orders that we have right now, we will be able to get our capital back in no time.

I’m in to reading fashion magazines right now right after the incident that happened to me a couple of months ago when I got invited by a friend from the fashion industry to a small party within the fashion district in our area. It’s the launching of a fashion magazine (Where quite honestly I have never been all of my life except for that one occasion). All of the people there were generally nice and I even contact some of them until now, but the one thing that I really hated was when they were talking to each other, I was a little bit out of place because I don’t know a squat about the stuff that they were talking about because, well…

I am not exactly a very fashionable person and my line of work is way far from this field, that even though sometimes I get asked to write something about it, I still can’t say that I have enough knowledge about fashion. Now, as an action to that little predicament, I swore to read fashion magazines from time to time so that the next time I get to a similar situation, I would definitely know something and would possibly be able to give some insights about the latest trends.

When I was looking for her size, I was surprised that there are actually limited supplies of plus sized clothing and I was asking them why. Nobody was able to tell me why but just told me to just look for a plus size clothing store because most of the things they sell have limited sizes. Luckily, I was able to find some plus size shop and most of them are standing together in single vicinity. I just feel sorry that most shops are still like that… not giving better scenarios for plus size people.

I was checking out some wedding fashion magazines yesterday when I found out some interesting thoughts, especially about the rings. I found out something more about the tradition of giving rings to the bride, and giving rings does not stop with engagement rings or wedding rings…

I also checked out some web sites about this because I got a little curious, then I stumbled upon a web site that offers trilogy rings UK and all the selections that they have in there. Something about trilogy rings, it was said that it represents the past, present and future, and its physical characteristics, usually displaying three brilliant-cut round diamonds each. I have also seen some Celtic Wedding rings and this type of ring look really good and the designs are really unique. I guess the Irish people have something to brag about regarding jewelry because the rings that I have seen were really to die for. Most of them are handcrafted to perfection and most of the jewelries were inspired by history. I was thinking if I were to give a ring to the one I love, I would probably go for a Celtic designed rings for engagement, wedding and trilogy rings.

I volunteered to teach English in Argentina. It is an expected thing in my life but being a modern woman involves this kind of huge step to make our life interesting. Actually I am going to teach in one of the Spanish schools in Buenos Aires. I recently studied their culture and most of them are living in a simple life. This is tough thing to do because I am a fashionista. Fashion is essential part of our everyday life. Adapting a certain kind of fashion style will depend upon the weather too. Argentina is a very humid country so I would have to bring clothes that are cotton made and very light.

I have to give up everything. When my friends hear about this, they are shocked to hear that I will teach English in latin America. This can definitely stop me from wearing fancy clothes and be as simple as possible. Fashion can surely reestablish our culture. It can certainly redefine us. The effect on me will be big but I know I am always a fashion girl. I would not mind wherever I maybe. I would continue to aspire to seek the best kind of clothing. Definitely I will create my own identity.
