I’m currently organizing everything as early as today for me and my girlfriend’s trip to the United Kingdom to see the Reading Festival 2009. I already got the Seatwave tickets (they are the main people to contact for Reading tickets) for the said event and all I need to do now is to make sure that our passports and visas are still intact, since it’s been two years since we last left the country for a trip. While I am doing all of these preparations and stuff, my girlfriend on the other hand is doing her own version of preparing herself for the festival. As I’m writing this on my laptop computer, my girlfriend is inside a boutique, trying to find something that she could wear on the three day festival. She already bought dresses, in case there would be some party after the show, she bought all kinds of shoes for different types of dance and basically the works. I told her she doesn’t really need to get any fancy clothing because we will just camp in there like what we did in the last Woodstock and she’ll just strain herself for nothing. She doesn’t listen so here she is, still buying clothes.

T-shirts
I really like to design custom t-shirts online because it gives me freedom to choose whatever it is that I want to see in the clothes and I can freely use my imagination to come up with some unique designs of my own and let the world see how my mind works when given such freedom of controlling visuals and other stuff. Before, that was when I haven’t discovered this type of art just yet, I was fond of going to one of those spray paint shops to have my very own custom t-shirts made for me. It was actually fine because in there, I could also pretty much do the things that I like with the design of the shirt but due to the global crisis, the price of the finished product went up high like the clouds in the sky because they said the price of the paint that they were using also went up. Before, from the amount of 20 bucks per realistic looking shirts (portraits of real persons and 3D pictures), it went up to 25 to 30 bucks a piece, depending on the design and the difficulty of creating the picture being painted on the shirts. At least, with the online shirts that I am purchasing right now, I get to do the same thing with a lower price since their procedure of printing is different.

When it comes to style and fashion in the golf industry, Lyle & Scott are always ahead of the pack. The clothing line has been in the industry since 1874 operating for almost 135 years with hundreds of stores nationwide. It initially begun to market underwear and was founded by William Lyle and Walker Scott. After few years, Lyle & Scott became successful and began expanding. They eventually switched to producing quality outwear – pullovers, jumpers for the golf industry by 1926. From then on the business continued its brisk growth.
Lyle & Scott decided to start again their underwear business by 1930’s. They also signed a franchisee deal to market the trendy Y-front underpants to the United States and Europe. Again, as soon as the Y-front underpants were released, it became a huge demand and Lyle & Scott continued to expand. Furthermore, the now world famous “golden eagle logo “was designed by these company owners in 1967. The logo is the symbol of Scotland in the golf industry. And by 1968, Lyle & Scott dominated the golf apparel industry when the first major tournament worn their clothing line.
By 2002 Lyle & Scott has proven their worth by introducing a new brand image to target the designer market.
